Dr. Ronald van der A 罗纳德·范·德·阿克斯博士

男，荷兰皇家气象研究所研究员。

2019年9月份受聘环境与测绘学院客座教授，开展合作研究。

He received his PhD degree at the Leiden university in 1997 on the topic of ozone profile retrieval from combined nadir/limb observations. Since 1997 he is employed by the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI), where he is now coordinating the Air Quality and Emission group of the R&D Satellite Observations department. He is involved in development and analysis of satellite data of SCIAMACHY, GOME-2, OMI and TROPOMI. His main interest is data assimilation and emission estimates from satellite observations. He is coordinating the ESA project GlobEmission on satellite-derived emissions. He also has a position as part-time professor at the Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology in China. He has been (co-) author of more than 90 peer-reviewed publications.
